Germany, the birth and workplace of many of the greatest pianists such as Beethoven, Bach, Liszt, Mozart, Schumann or Mendelssohn, has a long history and tradition of musical studies.
We at “Piano Gourmet”, would like to bring the passion and emotions such as love, joy, desire, enthusiasm and depression of the great European composers into your living room. Playing piano is not only for relaxation but also a way to escape from our daily routines, stress and worries and helps us to recharge our batteries. When we play piano, it stimulates various parts of our brain (creativity, listening, eye/finger coordination etc.) and as such it is an important mental jogging exercise for both young and old. Especially for kids whose brain and cognitive skills are still developing.
Come and join our online-based piano lessons which are taught by our Japanese speaking teacher, based in Germany.
About the Teacher
I was born and raised in Japan. I started to play the piano since I was 7 years old. I was fascinated by classical music and European culture ever since and have moved to Germany 16 years ago. I played regularly in small concerts in a chapel. There, I presented technically demanding piece such as Études d’exécution transcendante No.7 in E flat major “Eroica” from Liszt. I qualified for ABRSM Grade 5 in Music Theory and Grade 8 in Piano Performance. My mother tongue is Japanese, and I am fluent in German and English as well. I am excited to share my passion and joy for playing the piano and the European culture with you.
